Cape May’s most popular beaches are Higbee Beach and Poverty Beach, and both are great places to relax and enjoy bathing in the sun or swimming in the ocean. A number of hotels offer beach service, but most visitors bring their own umbrellas and chairs. Be sure to head to Cape May Point to pay a visit to the town's lighthouse, and climb to its top for 360-degree views.
