Things to Do in Quebec

If you’re staying in Quebec City, Old Quebec is a great section of the city to walk around in and explore. You can walk by the St. Lawrence River, see the Chateau Frontenac, and even take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. While you’re by the river, you can visit the Aquarium du Québec. Visit Montmorency Falls Park to see the impressive Montmorency Falls. You can zip line over them or hike around them. While staying in Quebec, make sure to still go to Montreal even if you aren’t renting there. Montreal has a vibrant nightlife, with a variety of modern bars and clubs, including Wunderbar, Sir Winston Churchill Pub Complex, and Apt. 200. Montreal is also filled with cultural activities. Spend a few hours at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, exploring Old Montreal, and visiting the beautiful Basilique Notre-Dame. Try eating poutine at Poutineville restaurant and try authentic French crepes at Crêperie Chez Suzette. For a view of the whole city, hike or take a bus to the top of Mont Royal.

Day Trips Near Quebec

Make a day trip to whichever Quebec cities that you are not staying in. If you are renting in Montreal, you can drive to Quebec City in under three hours.
