Head out of the town and drive 30 minutes to reach Quebec’s largest National park, Parc national du Mont-Tremblant. Here, you’ll see moose, white-tailed deer, and wolves. The scenery is breathtaking, as the Laurentian Mountains covered in maple forest surround the park and six rivers flow throughout the grounds. You can even rent canoes and kayaks and explore the 400 lakes and streams in the park! Montreal is a mere 2 hour drive from Mont Tremblant, and it’s a must while in the area. Transportation in Mont Tremblant
Getting to Mont Tremblant from out of the area is best done by flying into Montreal and making the 2-hour trek. The resorts at Mont Tremblant offer shuttles (for a price) to and from the airport, so check those out before choosing to rent a car. While in Mont Tremblant, there is good public transportation, so a rental car is not necessary. You can also walk many places, but if you’re interested in making day trips then a car is recommended.
