Just outside of Montreal is the small city in southwest Quebec, Bromont. It is known for its slopes, Ski Bromont, but that’s not the only thing to do here. Bromont is packed with natural beauty as well as tourist-friendly attractions. The city’s roots are actually tied to tourism, as it was established in 1964 as just that, a tourist resort community. From the rolling green golf courses to art galleries and local shops, this city offers almost everything you can imagine. Things to do in Bromont

The biggest attraction in Bromont is Ski Bromont, its 141-trail ski resort located within the city limits. The resort offers 5 different parks for snow bunnies of all levels. For beginners, try Experience Zone where you can get comfortable learning freestyle skiing and snowboarding tricks. Like night skiing? You’re in luck. Ski Bromont boasts 98 different lit runs on 7 different slope sides. The mountain isn’t just for winter sports, it can be enjoyed at any time of the year. In the summer, head to the mountainside waterslides. You’ll find 13 different slides and 4 heated pools. On top of that, the mountain also features 2 bobsled-style downhill runs and offers a free introductory mountain biking lesson on one of the trails. Le Royal Bromont lies in the heart of the city with a beautiful view of the mountains on nearly every one of its 18 holes. Domaine Chateau-Bromont provides visitors a retreat in addition to some incredible golfing. Vacationers can be treated to a day at the thermal baths or a romantic meal at the resort’s restaurants. Golf Duvieux Village is another beautiful course, especially in the fall when the foliage can be seen from the outdoor terrace of the course’s clubhouse that overlooks the 9th and 18th holes. Drive an hour northwest of the city and you’ll be in Montreal, the largest city in the Quebec province.
