Island Transit will get you around the island on a budget. This zero-fare transit system doesn’t have Sunday or holiday service, but offers fixed-route bus service weekdays and Saturday. Walking is another option for transportation on the island. The numerous hiking trails makes traveling short distances relatively easy. There’s also the possibility of getting off and on the island by ferry. The ride lasts about 15 minutes to get from Clinton to Mukiteo, and is relatively inexpensive, too.
