Glenbrook Information
About Glenbrook
Glenbrook, Nevada is a small housing community on the east shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe in Nevada. It is also close to other popular areas of the lake.
Things To Do In Glenbrook
Spending time on the beautiful private beach at Glenbrook is probably the most popular option for visiting families, but there are also many great natural adventures you can take that will help you get to know the Lake Tahoe area. Glenbrook is most known for being the location of Cave Rock. The rock formation was created over 3 million years ago and remains one of the most prominent natural features in the Lake Tahoe area. It’s a beautiful place to take a short 15-minute hike to the top where you can experience stunning panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains. If you hike up Cave Rock, you won’t be disappointed and will walk away with some great photographs. Other great things to do include taking a hike on the Deadmans Overlook Trail, which will take you to Deadman Point where you’ll again get to see beautiful panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Also along the lake, you could head to Zephyr Cove and take a boat tour out to Emerald Bay, one of the most beautiful places in Lake Tahoe. Emerald Bay is also home to some great walking trails that offer great views. Zephyr Cove is a great place to enjoy the water where you can get great watercraft rentals from the Zephyr Cove Marina and enjoy the lake for yourself, or even go parasailing above Lake Tahoe. Take the short 10 minute drive to Stateline where there are great casinos, which offer fun nightlife activities to keep you busy and have a great time. If you are interested in golfing, Glenbrook has a fantastic golf course with an old-world restaurant that serves lunch and dinner. Additionally, there are two great golf courses in the South Lake Tahoe area. The Edgewood Golf Course is noted as one of the most beautiful and scenic golf courses in the United States and runs along Lake Tahoe. It’s very challenging and also expensive, so you may want to consider a better value option if you’re not as committed to the game with the Lake Tahoe Golf Course, which is located in a mountain meadow and offers a fun challenge for golfers and great sights.
