Homestay is an international platform that connects travelers and hosts with similar interests for guests to experience local, authentic hospitality. Hosts are present at the home for the entirety of the guest's stay. Started in 2013, this Dublin-based company wanted to create a platform to reach travelers who craved a more cultural, educational travel experience abroad. The site boasts more than 15,000 homestays in 3,000 cities across more than 95 countries.

  • Users can save favorite homestays in a folder for future reference. Each homestay describes whether a meal is included in the rate, as well as house-specific rules.
