Transportation in San Juan Islands
You don’t need to bring your car to the San Juan Islands. Make your life easier by parking your car right at the Anacortes ferry terminal. You can then take the Washington State Ferry to one of the four islands. No need to make a reservation for riding the ferry, you can just check the times and show up! Once you are on an island, you can also take the Washington State Ferry to travel to the other islands. To get around the island, you can rent a car or even a moped.
