About Table Rock Lake
Situated in the Ozark Mountains of northwestern Arkansas as well as southwestern Missouri is the artificial reservoir Table Rock Lake. Extending over 43,000 acres, Table Rock Lake is a prominent destination for visitors from the seasons of spring to autumn. In proximity to the lake is Table Rock Dam which was constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the mid-1900s. Table Rock Lake also has a fish hatchery and a few commercial marinas.

About a half an hour’s drive northeast from the lake is the city of Branson in Missouri. Branson exudes a rustic charisma. Accordingly, Shell Knob houses an expansive recreational vehicle (RV) park as well as the beloved Table Rock Area71, a convenience store and local favorite restaurant that serves handcrafted hamburgers, breakfast plates, and frozen custard. Around an hour and half’s worth of driving southwest from Table Rock Lake is Eureka Springs in Arkansas. Recognized by the National Register of Historic Places, the entire city of Eureka Springs is considered a historic area. One of the most popular points of interest is a village of cottages and buildings built in a distinctive Victorian-era architectural style. Exciting events in the city include the Eureka Gras Mardi Gras Extravaganza in early spring, the month-long May Festival of the Arts, and Eureka Springs Food and Wine Festival held in the fall.
