Osage Beach Information
About Osage Beach
Osage Beach is a beautiful city located on the shores of the Lake of the Ozarks. Until 1935, the city was known as Zebra, Missouri. In those times, the city was located on the river bottom, but with the Bagnell Dam construction, the city was flooded, paving the way for one of North America’s largest man-made lakes, The Lake of the Ozarks. The city was then renamed to Osage Beach, which now stands on a nearby cliff.
