Most people come to the area to visit the 14,000-acre Callaway Gardens. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful gardens, learn about birds of prey, fly high on a zip line or enjoy a sprawling white-sand beach, right in the middle of Georgia! You can also spend the day at Georgia's largest State Park, the F.D. Roosevelt State Park. Enjoy outdoor activities while experiencing some history at the same time. The Pine Mountain trail has 23 miles of adventure passing moss-covered rocks and waterfalls, and an overlook offers picnic tables and sweeping views of the valley.
