Get away to the Northern tip of Ontario’s Bruce Peninsula. Tobermory is known as the fresh water scuba diving capital of the world. Stare up into the startlingly visible Milky Way!

You need to take a ferry out to Flowerpot Island, and then a short hike up to the “flowerpot” pillars. The natural sea stacks really do resemble flowerpots. On the island, find all kinds of caves and trails to explore. Underwater is where Tobermory shines. Discover underwater shipwrecks, submerged forests and canyons. If you don’t want to scuba dive, take a boat cruise where you can admire the wrecks from above. The water is crystal clear and runs cold, but is both beautiful and refreshing.
