Boston is the capital of and largest city in Massachusetts, and is one of the oldest cities in the United States. Nicknamed “Beantown" and “the cradle of modern America", Boston is home to many historical sites and long-standing educational institutions like Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. If you are ever traveling in New England, this city is a must-see and the following places should not be overlooked when visiting Boston:
Freedom Trail
If you like history or just want experience the city on foot, the Freedom Trail starts in Boston Common and leads you through the city visting Fanuiel Hall, Quicy Market and the North End where you will find amazing pasta, pizza and cannolis.

Newbury Street
Newbury Street is a must see, even if you only want to have lunch at one of the many outdoor restaurants. It's also great for people watching and shopping, too. The Museum of Fine Arts is a few stops away from here if you take the E-line and is a great place to go after Newbury Street because of the amount of artwork and great artists you will find inside.

Fenway Park
Home of the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park is located near Kenmore Square and has served as the home ballpark of the Boston Red Sox baseball team since 1912, and is the oldest Major League Baseball stadium currently in use. Make sure and look for the “Green Monster" in left field!

Prudential Tower
Also known as the Prudential Building. The building currently stands as the 2nd-tallest building in Boston, behind the John Hancock Tower. Located at the top of the Prudential is restaurant “Top of the Hub" where you can eat and witness an awe-inspiring 360-degree view of the city from the comfort of your seat.

Public Garden
The Boston Public Garden is a large park located in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, adjacent to Boston Common. Here you will find the perfect place for a Summer picnic next to historical statues and beautiful flower arrangements. Come here to take a breath and enjoy the scenery.

Boston is a great city full of history and wonderful things to see at every corner. While this list is by no means a complete summary of everything to see in Boston - it is a great start for anyone looking to visit the city for a few days!
