Things to do in Steamboat Springs
Bike along the Yampa River Core Trail, stretching 7.5 miles and connecting one side of town to the other. Start your ride along the river and end up in the heart of downtown. If the weather is just right, jump in the water and float down the river, or take a soak in one of the natural hot springs. It's also a great place to catch some native trout. Did you know Steamboat is home to four breweries? Stop in to try a local beer brewed locally in the Yampa Valley. The kids will love visiting the historic mining "ghost" town of Oak Creek or Yampa, known as the "gateway to the flattops."
