Things to do in Lake Anna
There is plenty of fun to be had in Lake Anna. If you’re looking to get out on the water, there are boat and jet ski rentals available for use so you can go out and have some fun on the lake. If you’re looking to shop, there are a variety of different small shops in the area that offer everything from antiques to more fishing gear. Looking for some fun outdoor activities on land? There are plenty of fun day trips you can take from Lake Anna. 40 minutes away from the area is Fredericksburg, where you can find fun places like the Alum Spring Park, Mary Washington House, and the Bug Box—a great place for the kids to come and learn all about insects. An hour away is Richmond, the capital of Virginia and home to the Science Museum of Richmond and Richmond Aviation Museum. If you’re not looking to travel far, Spotsylvania is only 20 minutes away and Loriella Park, another cool place where you can explore the outdoors. Looking for a fun shopping and beach day? Wake up early and drive two hours out to Virginia Beach, where you can shop at all your favorite stores and take time to relax on the beach.

Transportation in Lake Anna
There are really only a handful of ways to get around Lake Anna. There are no public vehicle services, so your best bet would be to rent a car at one of the car rentals outside of the city, including Avis and Enterprise. The easiest way to get across the lake would be to go across, and there are boat rentals available throughout the town.
