Things to do in Lake Anna


There is plenty of fun to be had in Lake Anna. If you’re looking to get out on the water, there are boat and jet ski rentals available for use so you can go out and have some fun on the lake. If you’re looking to shop, there are a variety of different small shops in the area that offer everything from antiques to more fishing gear. Looking for some fun outdoor activities on land? Go pick some fresh fruit and berries at Double “B” Farm, golfing at Meadows Farm Golf Course (home to the longest hole in the US), or even go hiking in Lake Anna State Park. When it’s time to eat, you can check out places like Tavern on the Rail, or head over Lake Anna Winery and try some award-winning wines. At night, you can head over to Houstons for some drinks, or catch a film at the Marquee Cinema. In the spring, the city hosts a fun triathlon called the Kinetic Sprint, where you can participate in the main event or other fun races.

There are plenty of fun day trips you can take from Lake Anna. 40 minutes away from the area is Fredericksburg, where you can find fun places like the Alum Spring Park, Mary Washington House, and the Bug Box—a great place for the kids to come and learn all about insects. Transportation in Lake Anna

There are really only a handful of ways to get around Lake Anna. There are no public vehicle services, so your best bet would be to rent a car at one of the car rentals outside of the city, including Avis and Enterprise. The easiest way to get across the lake would be to go across, and there are boat rentals available throughout the town.
