About Old Forge
Old Forge is a small community in the town of Webb, with a population of 756. The area was first owned by a family in 1798, who attempted to use it for farming. It then served as a village until 1933, when it dissolved and became an unincorporated community. Today, Old Forge’s proximity to the Adirondack Mountains, as well as its high volume of snowfall each year, make it a great destination for year round outdoor recreation.
