However, Saranac has museums like the Wild Center, or the Saranac Laboratory Museum for you to visit. Tupper Lake is further away at a forty minute drive from Lake Placid, but the Tupper Lake Municipal Park and the Tupper Lake Heritage Museum give you even more reason to visit.
