Winchester, Nevada is an unincorporated town and part of the Las Vegas Township in Clark County, Nevada. It was founded as Paradise A in 1951 and later named to Winchester in 1953. Winchester borders Las Vegas to the west and Paradise to the south. The United States Postal Service has assigned Winchester as Las Vegas, Nevada for mailing purposes due to Winchester containing parts of the famous Las Vegas Strip.
