Just off the coast of Miami is a border island called Key Biscayne. The city is situated between two parks: Crandon Park and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Key Biscayne makes for a premiere vacation destination!

Renting a car will probably be the best option, especially if you plan to do a couple day trips away from Key Biscayne. There is the coastal train system but only runs north from Miami. Of course, if you are staying in Key Biscayne then consider renting a bicycle or using a rideshare service.
