A visit to the historic Cocoa Village is a must for any visitor. This is the downtown part of the City of Cocoa, and was settled in the mid-1800s. It is now one of the most popular attractions as a premier shopping and entertainment areas with tree-lined streets, restaurants, and cute shops. Places to check out here include the historic Cocoa Village Playhouse, the Florida Historical Society, the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse, and a cruise out of the Cocoa Village Marina along the beautiful Indian River. Spend an afternoon at the Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science, take a learning lesson at the Eastern Florida State College Planetarium and Observatory, walk around Riverfront Park, and visit the historic Porcher House, which features 20th century classical revival architecture.

There is also a trolley service that runs in nearby Cocoa Beach, which is a fun way to see the town and runs Monday through Saturday from 7am to 9pm, and Sunday from 8am to 5pm.
