If you want to see another national park while in Colorado, check out Great Sand Dunes National Park which is five hours east of Telluride. Although it’s a little farther of a drive, it is worth the majestic photos you’ll get in some of the largest sand dunes of the world. Stay in nearby Alamosa and explore the many outdoor activities offered in the area.
