Laguna Niguel will keep you out and about, so don’t forget the sunscreen! The Laguna Niguel Regional Park has a lake that covers 44 acres, and is stocked with trout and bass for fishing. Day permits must be bought for fishing, while boat and fishing gear are available to rent. The Regional Park is an oasis in the suburbs. The Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park covers 4,500 acres of wilderness with streams and trails. This wildlife sanctuary is open from 7am until sunset. The Niguel Botanical Preserve has thousands of species of plants over miles and miles of trails, including a labyrinth and an amphitheater. If retail therapy is more your thing, the Plaza De La Paz shopping centre and the Laguna Niguel Farmers Market are right next to each other! The Farmers Market is open every Sunday from 9am-1pm. Don’t forget, the beach at Dana Point is just a ten minute drive outside of Laguna Niguel!

Music and the off-beat can be found in Venice. Stop off in Downtown LA to see the hustle, bustle, and do some shopping! Santa Monica is an hour and a half drive from Laguna Niguel. The vibrant and iconic pier is adorned with a ferris wheel. The Santa Monica beach below is beautiful, and one of California’s finest!
