Sun City is 15 miles from Phoenix, Arizona’s capital and most populous city. Phoenix is home to an array of recreational sites and facilities unique to the southwest. Transportation in Sun City
Glendale Municipal Airport or Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport are the two closest options for flying into Sun City. In terms of getting to and from the airport, Sun City Express is a shuttle service that serves West Valley. Guests can book rides to Phoenix Harbor, or even the Mesa Gateway Airport or the Amtrak station in Maricopa. Vans, charters and sedans are available upon reservation. There are no public transportation services within Sun City.
