About North Bay
North Bay, a city in Northeastern Ontario, Canada, is situated on the shore of Lake Nipissing. Over 50,000 people live in the “Gateway to the North,” enjoying its proximity to nature and numerous activities on the lake. The arrival of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1882 introduced activity to the area, and the town was established in 1891. It became an important center for lumber, mining, and transportation, which was essential to its population growth.
