Must go see the Mayan Ruins- Chichen Itza. Buy all your souvenirs there- its all hand made, the people there need it, and its all great quality!!!
The entire ruins are outside and it takes a while to get around to see everything, also you must climb up those several hundred stairs- it will be quite a workout :)

Hey Chelsey - not sure about climbing but have a friend who is an awesome raft guide in Northern Colorado. Could connect you to her?

    Hello everyone!
Leaving to Greece next July, anyone know any surf schools in Crete?
Or have you practiced any outdoor sport you'd recommend? I'm interested in snorkeling and trekking mostly.

This really is a great ride...and it's really more a ride than a race, with a fun route, plenty of support, and lots of community involvement. 2011 will be my third year in a row of doing the 109, and I highly recommend it.
