Both bedrooms have new contemporary furnishings and bathrooms en suite, large walk in closets, flat screen televisions, dressing mirrors, oversized windows with floor length drapes and new duvets in earth tones. The large master suite has two seating areas with comfy chairs and a love seat, a king sized ultra suede bed, a jacuzzi tub and separate shower stall, double sinks and a wall mounted hair dryer. The second suite is furnished with a queen sized bed, dressing bench, a tub/shower combination, single sink vanity and wall mounted hair dryer.

Additional amenities include complementary Wi-fi, cable and two tandem parking spaces in the covered, gated garage. This security gated residential building is well maintained with tidy landscaping, a small marble floor lobby and new carpeting lining the building hallways. Guests are in walking distance of several casual restaurants, coffee shops and Walgreens along Pico Boulevard. Olympic Boulevard is a couple blocks away and provides easy access westward to the beaches or eastbound to downtown and the Staples Center/Nokia Live Entertainment complex.

This was a very nicely decorated unit. It was also a good size--it had 2 bedrooms, with a couch downstairs if needed. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was also really great for privacy (we had 2 couples and 1 child with us). The unit is older which you can see by the scrapes on the hard wood flooring and the older style of the bathrooms--not to mention the building itself. There were some things that didn't work in the unit, like the tub jets and sometimes the lights in the bedrooms were finicky. Also we had some trouble with the door codes locking us out before our checkout time which was a bit irritating since I had to call in and wait while they got a new door code working. I blame the fact that it was new year's day :). Also, we all agreed that the unit might have been cleaned better--we found some hairs on the bathroom floor and even in the tub (we were using it for our toddler to take a bath in).<br/><br/>Despite these issues our stay was very nice. This was a last minute rental and we all agreed that we'd come back to it. The location (with no traffic 30 min to universal, 30 min to beach, 5 min to the farmers market and 15 or so to the Hollywood walk of fame), and the size of the place really made it worth it.<br/>
