History of PandaBed

PandaBed was created in 2013 by best friends who shared a passion for traveling off the beaten path. After James Chua and Lester Kang finished their studies in Los Angeles, California, they returned to Singapore to start their corporate careers. Soon after, they tried to plan a trip around Asia and experienced difficulties when trying to find alternative lodging. This made them realize how much growth potential there was in the shared economy segment of travel in Asia and helped them come up with the concept for PandaBed.

How To Use PandaBed

PandaBed has created a simple interface in order to offer a seamless experience for users. When you first load the homepage, enter the location you would like to go to, along with your dates and the number of guests traveling with you. Once you have done so, you will be taken to a search results page that allows you to further narrow down your search.

If you have a few properties that you would like to compare, click on the heart in the top right corner of the tile to add the property to your favorites list. This function will only work if you choose to sign-up or login to the site.

If you are not sure where you would like to go, but you know you want to go to Asia - scroll down on the homepage to reveal some inspiration that can help you decide.
