1. Paducah

See more than 750 fireworks from seven riverfront locations in Paducah! You can also watch the Paducah Concert Band perform on the Wilson Stage. The entire event is free to the public.

2. Lexington

Celebrate this Fourth of July in Lexington, Kentucky! The celebration is two days beginning on Monday, July 3rd. On Monday you can enter the Great American Pie Contest and enjoy more dessert at the Ice Cream Social at the Fifth Third Bank Pavilion in Cheapside Park. On July 4th there is a 10k in the morning followed by a street festival, parade, and fireworks that night.

3. Richmond

The city of Richmond, Kentucky hosts an annual celebration at Lake Reba. Before the fireworks begin at 10:05 pm, you can go kayaking with Lake Reba Adventure or play miniature golf at Adventure Falls. The festivities also include food and craft vendors and a DJ.

4. Jamestown

Attend the Lake Cumberland Independence Day Celebration in Jamestown’s Lake Cumberland State Resort Park! The festivities are July 1-2,2017 from 8 pm to midnight. The State Dock hosts this annual fireworks show. The band Contagious Til 4 will be also be performing.

5. Cadiz

If your perfect Fourth of July consists of watching fireworks on the beach, celebrate Independence Day at Lake Barkley State Resort Park in Cadiz, Kentucky. There will be food vendors and the recreation staff will be hosting activities during the day. The free fireworks show is that night right on the beach.

6. Falls of Rough

Located in Falls of Rough, Kentucky, the Rough River Dam State Resort Park has annual fireworks show that is sponsored by local donations. There are food and a variety of activities during the day before the fireworks begin at dusk.

7. Bardstown

If you’re in search of fun activities, cupcakes, and fireworks, head over to My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown. The event runs from 6:30 pm to 11 pm on July 4, 2017.

8. Louisville
