Top Destinations for Summer Travel: London
Looking for summer travel ideas? London is a great destination for summer travel!
Summertime is one of the best times of the year to take a trip to London. The warmer weather is perfect for enjoying the Royal Parks (such as Hyde Park and Regent's Park) and beautiful green spaces managed by the City of London such as Epping Forest and Hampstead Heath. It's also ideal for heading to the ZSL London Zoo if you're on a family vacation or exploring one of the many London farmers' markets.
Once darkness falls you can still take advantage of the warmer summer weather by attending an outdoor movie screening at Somerset House, home to "London's most beautiful open-air cinema." And should you need to take shelter indoors, many of London's museums are free, including the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, the National Gallery and Tate Modern.
