Antibes and Juan-les-Pins host a number of great summer events. Voiles d'Antibes marks the opening of the Mediterranean circuit for yachts and is one of the "the most regal regattas in the Mediterranean." This year it takes place May 29th to June 2nd. The Festival of Saint Peter, the patron saint of fishermen, is a colorful annual celebration. Local fishermen adorn their boats and a festive procession through town takes place. Celebrations occur from June 28th-30th in 2013. Jazz à Juan is an annual outdoor jazz event which has been taking place since 1960. One of the world's top jazz festivals, it takes place from the 12th to the 21st of July in 2013.
