1. Barton Springs Pool

The Barton Springs Pool is three acres! The pool is located in Austin, Texas and open year round. Next to the pool is an educational exhibit called Splash!, where you can learn about the biology of Barton Springs.

2. Deep Eddy Pool

The Deep Eddy Pool is the oldest swimming pool in the state of Texas! This large pool has both lap and recreational swimming. There are also multiple trails and picnic tables. If you visit during the summer, there are often movies playing by the pool.

3. Forest Park Pool

Located in Fort Worth, Texas, the Forest Park Pool has water slides, a wading area, and diving boards. Forest Park Pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. You can also rent the pool after hours from 7 to 9 pm. Admission is $5 for ages 17 and under and $6 for ages 18 and older. However, you can buy an adult season pass for $180 or a kids season pass for $150.

4. Nessler Park Family Aquatic Center

With a cool water spa, slides, lazy river, and kids area, the Nessler Park Family Aquatic Center is a fun place to spend the day with your family. There are also picnic tables, concessions, lounge chairs, and changing areas with showers. You can also make a private reservation for the pool Wednesday through Sunday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

5. Big Stacy Neighborhood Pool

The Big Stacy Neighborhood Pool is open all year! The great part of this pool is that there is always free admission. However, the pool tends to be crowded in the morning and sometimes there are swim team practices held here.

6. Pleasant Glade Pool

The Pleasant Glade Pool in Grapevine, Texas is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Admission is only $2 for residents and $3 for non-residents. There are also season and family passes available if you plan on spending a lot of time here this summer. Pleasant Glade Pool also offers swim lessons for all ages and has cabana and private pool party rentals available.

7. The Texas Pool

You can swim across Texas at this uniquely shaped pool! The 168,000-gallon saltwater pool is shaped like Texas and has two water slides, a diving board, and wading area for kids. There’s also volleyball, a snack bar, and picnic tables.
