Must-See: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Tripper Erin Parker, currently a student at Stanford University, shares with us photos from Cabo San Lucas in Baja California, Mexico. A well-known destination to those who live in California, Baja California is the less well-known-internationally portion of the former Spanish colony of California. But one look at these photos, and you can easily see why Cabo is a popular destination with many in the know.
This local landmark, El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, marks the meeting point of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.
The coastline here is known for its miles of sandy beaches and craggy coves.
Playa del Amor (Lovers Beach) is located on the Sea of Cortez. To get to this cove....
....one needs to take a boat, as it is only accessible by sea.
