Day 26: San Francisco (3 Austrian Friends Go Tripping)
3 Austrians, 5 far-flung countries, one epic journey. Tripping member, Herbert Schoosleitner recounts Day 26 of his 'round the world journey with his travel mates Berni and David. Day 26: San Francisco After the best breakfast on our trip so far, we we started in Oakland to San Francisco. Equipped with cameras, a travel guide and umbrellas from our hosts, our aim was to see as many sights as possible. After buying the tickets for the trip to Alcatraz Island, where the former prison is, we got on the long walk along the promenade to the Golden Gate Bridge.

We decided, to do a footwalk to Lombard Street, to see the world's crookedest street. A pizza for the happy end and this exciting second day in San Francisco was finished.
