3. See incredibly beautiful art

The Museum of Modern Art is free on Fridays from 4pm-8pm. Make sure to check out the Monet paintings!


4. Go on a leisurely stroll

The Hudson River Greenway is a perfect scenic walk during any time of the day, and in any season. If it's winter, bundle up!


5. See the Statue of Liberty

Take the Staten Island Ferry (for commuters) to get across the river, but still enjoy a beautiful view of Lady Liberty.



6. Walk through iconic Central Park

Central Park is a beautiful place to visit in all seasons. Whether you bike the paths or take a romantic scenic walk, there are miles and miles of things to do. In the summer, you can rent rowboats at the Loeb Boathouse for $15 an hour, and in the winter, you can go ice skating for $12 from Monday to Thursday ($19 on the weekends) with a $9 skate rental. Not cheap, but so worth it.
