At Top of the Mark, you can see views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the bay, and the skyline of San Francisco. Top of the Mark has been open since 1939 and continues to be a popular place to go in San Francisco. This restaurant and bar is on the 19th floor of the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco, but you do not have to be staying at the hotel to go here. Top of the Mark is open every day of the week. On Friday and Saturday night you can get cocktails between 4:30pm and 12:30 am and enjoy tapas and other appetizers from 5pm to 10pm. Come back Sunday morning for a Champagne Brunch, which starts at 10am. Try one of the Sunset Sips cocktails such as the Golden Gate. Or try one of the many martinis, such as the Chocolatini or The Top of the Mark.
2. The Starlight Room
450 Powell Street, San Francisco, CA 94102
The Starlight Room is a 21st floor lounge and rooftop bar in Union Square. The Starlight Room has an old glamour feel to it with classy red currents and booths. All of the food at the bar is made from ingredients from the Bay Area. Make sure to try one of the Stars in Starlight drinks. The Starlight Room is open every day except Monday. It is open midnight on Friday sand until 1:30am on Saturdays and Sundays.
3. El Techo

If you’re looking for quality cocktails and Latin American street food, try going to El Techo, which is a rooftop bar in the mission district of San Francisco. Make sure to come early to guarantee yourself a seat. Sunday through Thursday the bar at El Techo is open until 10:30 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays the bar is open from 11am to 12:30am. Margaritas are only $7 during happy hour, which is Monday through Friday from 4pm to 6pm.
4. B Restaurant & Bar
720 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103
At B Restaurant & Bar, you can have panoramic views of the skyline. This modern bar is above the Yerba Buena Gardens and is known for its emphasis on California-based breweries, local ingredients, and seasonal cocktails. Some of the house cocktails include the Pacific Popsicle, So Tough, and the Feisty Flirt. If you’re in San Francisco in May, make sure to attend the annual All You Can Eat Oyster Bash held at the B Restaurant & Bar. B Restaurant and Bar is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:30am to 9pm and from 12pm to 4pm on weekends.
5. Dirty Habit

Dirty Habit has beautiful views and an extensive selection of cocktails, spirits, and wine. Try the You Go Glen Coco or the Under the Sun cocktail. Dirty Habit also has Cocktails to Share, including the Break the Bank cocktail, which you need to have a minimum of four people to be able to order it. Dirty Habit is open Monday through Saturday from 5pm to 10pm.
