Lake Simcoe is the fourth largest lake located in Southern Ontario, Canada. Bordered by Simcoe County, Lake Simcoe also contains a large island, Georgina. The lake is dotted with several smaller islands including Thorah Island, Strawberry Island, Snake Island, and Fox Island. A popular resort and summer area, the lake is surrounded with summer cottages and beaches, and has lots of recreational activity from its visitors, including ice fishing competitions in the winter and jet skiing and other boat activities in the summer.
