Wight Haven is a well presented bungalow and can sleep up to 5 guests. The accommodation offers open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, double bedroom with en-suite shower, twin bedroom with additional pull out bed and family bathroom with shower over bath. The bungalow is situated within the Gurnard Pines complex which has a fully equipped gym, 25 meter heated indoor swimming pool and outdoor tennis courts. Also on site is Monkey Mansion which is a large indoor soft play area. Daily or weekly passes can be purchased on site for using the facilities. Also on site are a Spar convenience store selling daily essentials and The Food Shack and Bar which is open daily and hosts weekly Thai curry evenings and a takeaway menu
Conveniently located within a 20 mins walk of Gurnard seafront where you can enjoy a lovely lunch/coffee & cake or try fresh seafood at the Watersedge Restaurant and Beach cafe located at the eastern end of the seafront. Also on the sea front is Gurnard Sailing Club where you can become a visiting member for the summer months
Gurnard is popular for sailing/ water activities or those wishing to BBQ by the beach, and enjoy the sun, sea and sand. With great views across the Solent, and some of the best sunsets on the Island
Behind the seafront beach huts there is a large sloped green with children's playground area
The Woodvale pub overlooking the Esplanade at Gurnard enjoys fantastic views across the Solent and is the perfect viewpoint for watching all the yachting regattas, serving good family food and frequently hosting live music
Cowes is a 45 minute waterfront walk and offers a wide variety of boutique style shops, pubs, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. It is an ideal location for those with an interest in yachting or simply wishing to soak up the lively atmosphere. Through the summer months hundreds of Yachting enthusiasts come to race and enjoy the bustling nightlife. Other attractions for visitors to Cowes include the Literary Festival in October with famous speakers and writers to make a memorable weekend. Cowes Parade, is perfect to watch passing liners on their world cruises together with a variety of commercial ships and all manner of classic and performance boats. The Red Jet passenger catamaran, with a regular service to Southampton, and there is a chain ferry to East Cowes with the famous historic Osborne House
Staying in Gurnard provides easy access to all other areas of the Island, with its choice of beautiful beaches, superb coastline, attractions and stunning walking and cycling country
