Description

The Gite au lac, has a beautiful location overlooking the lake. Layout: entrance, separate toilet, bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower, open kitchen, living room with sitting area and wood stove, dining table with 6 chairs, covered terrace with garden furniture. Two 2-person bedrooms on ground floor with separate beds dim. 80 x 200 cm and a two person loft with separate beds (fun for children). You can not swim in the lake but in the swimming pool (photo) with a diameter of 6 meters. Prices include tourist tax and cleaning costs. In the high season (July / August) only weekly rentals are possible, in the other seasons the stay is at least 2 nights

On our small-scale holiday paradise you can enjoy the peace, space and beautiful nature. Direct from the terrain you can walk or cycle into the surrounding area
The characteristic village of Rouffignac Saint Cernin de Reilhac is located in a beautiful part of the Dordogne, sloping, very green and many attractions and activities are nearby

You can celebrate holidays with us in many ways
Our stone cottage (4-6 persons), two wooden cabanes (2 persons), 3 fully equipped luxury safari tents with private sanitary (5 persons) and the holiday house (8 persons) with private pool offer plenty of privacy
Guus organizes a petanque or golf tournament and Sandra bakes a 'tourte a partager'
There is also a swimming pool for shared use on the property

A holiday in the Dordogne is a true discovery through an ancient landscape with picturesque villages, beautiful castles and churches and of course the river 'Dordogne' which this region is named after. Périgueux, the capital of the department of the Dordogne and 30 minutes away has a beautiful church (with resemblance to the Sacré Coeur in Paris), a beautiful museum around the excavations of a Roman house and two very nice markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays and fun stores
Sarlat is known for the beautiful medieval streets and the extensive Saturday market and is about 40 km away and 45 minutes drive
Bergerac is 60 km away and an hour away and is also very worthwhile to visit because of Chateau de Mont Bazillac with its beautiful view over the wine region
Bordeaux is a beautiful city, very worthwhile for a visit. Travel distance about 2 hours

Food and drink
The region is known for the "foie gras". A visit to a duck farm is possible and for fans the museum is a must!

Visit wineries, the wines of the various appellations in the Bergérac about 1 hour drive are great wines and have won the last few years of quality. A little further away is the Bordeaux region with its famous wines and wineries. Highly recommended is Saint-Emilion 40 km east of Bordeaux. 2000 years of wine history on the flanks of the Dordogne river

The night markets (Marché Nocturne) in Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin-de-Reilhac and Saint-Leon-sur-Vezere are a concept in the region. No ordinary market but a real party with live music and good food. You buy at a stall and eat at long tables

Delicious fresh rolls every morning, that is possible through our sandwich service. In the evening ordered the next morning the sandwiches hang on the door
