Shediac, a small town in New Brunswick, is known as the Lobster Capital of the World. 6,000 people live on this town situated on a bay in Eastern Canada. Though the town was incorporated in 1903, it has a rich history dating back hundreds of years. Today, people visit for the annual Lobster Festival, warm water, the artsy downtown area.

There is a 90-ton sculpture of a lobster that is nicknamed “The World’s Largest Lobster,” though it may not actually be the largest lobster sculpture in existence.
