This inviting, light wooden chalet for 28 people is situated on a 3000-square metre estate, in the middle of the High Fens and 600 metres above sea level. The chalet has a habitable surface area of 400 square metres and consists of two identical wings, that's why everything is \"double\". That means there are two saunas!
The enormous windows of the chalet offer stunning views of the gorgeous sunset over the High Fens. The two terraces on the first floor provide access to the garden, where you can barbecue, build a campfire, and play table tennis or petanque. Basketball, volleyball, and badminton are all available as well
There are quite a few things to do in the area: the highest point in Belgium is nearby (694 m, Signal de Botrange), ski pistes are just 300 m away, the High Fens, a protected national park that is great for a long hike (a 5-minute drive), or the city of Malmedy (15 minutes). The famous Francorchamps Circuit (16 km); Stavelot (18 km), with its abbey and its sports car museum; and the romantic castle of Reinhardstein (1 km) are all just a short distance away
