Takapuna city & beach takes 10 minutes by car for chic restaurants, great shopping & convention centres. Up the road in Belmont there are coffee shops, a new organic grocery and 10 fast food restaurants. Northern surf beaches on the Hauraki Gulf are 2 km from home, or swim in Bayswater when the tide is high
