We are only 25 minutes from our wine growing region and the winery offer tours and tasting daily. Nearby towns of Jerome, Cottonwod, and Cornville offer tasting rooms, galleries and lots of really great restaurants
The village of Oak Creek offers public golfing, tennis, outlets malls and theaters. From here you can hike Cathedral rock, Bell rock and many other trails. We are in West Sedona which is the heart of Sedona for activities, hiking, biking, jeep and ballon companies and all the amenities that Sedona is known for. We have the largest variety of restaurants, live music venues, wine bars and theaters in the county
We are located near Airport Mesa, one of the 4 major vortex spots. Tlaquepaque is nearby, and offers some of the best galleries and shops and the setting is absolutely beautiful. Hillside and Uptown are only minutes away. More shopping and dining delights. The famous Boynton Canyon, Hononki and Palatki ruins are 15 minutes out a beautiful road. This home offers a beautiful area for a small WEDDING. The owners are both ordained ministers and can write a ceremony and perform it in your own front yard, overlooking the red rocks
They are both artists and much of their work can be seen in the home. Bob is a retired Fireman and Candace a retired Flight Attendant. They love beautiful things and have taken great care to make this your cozy home while in Sedona. The master bedroom is the dream room with a view!. The King size bed and mounds of pillows and comforters makes you want to curl up and stay in bed all day. The second bedroom hosts a queen bed and a soothing feeling of quiet relaxation. The newly landscaped yard is lovely with quiet spots to sit under trees and still see the red rocks. A new 600 square foot paver patio has just been competed to make your outdoor experience even better. Beautiful furnishings and BBQ to make your evenings romantic and unforgettable. The bird life is sweet here. This is one of the original homestead ranch areas in Sedona and boasts some lovely old flora and fauna of the past. It used to be called Grasshopper Flats, as fisherman driving through the area from Jerome to Oak creek stopped here to catch grasshoppers for bait. They are gone now and ravens, hawks, jay, robins, finches, hummingbirds and an occasional bald eagle call this home. When you sit on the front deck and listen to the activity, you feel as if you are in a birds nest. We choose to call our Casa, Birch Nest. You feel you are in the air with them at your eye level
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could ask for. You will cook on gas. Being a good cook, people usually love gas. I know I do. The dining room has a Southwest set of 6 hand carved chairs and a large wood and tile table. This opens into the living area with fireplace, great art and furniture, and loads of Red Rocks views
There is a two car garage that we like people to use. The driveway is rather steep and entering from the garage is easier to bring in groceries and luggage. If you have been hiking it is also a good place to remove your shoes. The floors are a brand new hardwood laminate, and tend to scratch if hard shoes are worn inside
