The tourist sector of the seaside is lively and dynamic. It has many restaurants, hotels and modern cafes

Agadir has a pleasant promenade on the seafront for about 6 kilometers. A recent marina with many luxury shops has been built at the foot of the Kasbah

The Casbah, (Agadir Oufella, Agadir the top) was the oldest district of Agadir. This authentic fortress with small winding and animated streets was built in 1572
From the earthquake of February 29, 1960, there remains only the long wall restored and the door above which we can read the inscription in Arabic and Dutch "Fear God and honor the King"

From the Kasbah, the view is exceptional on the bay of Agadir
The Agadir Ouffelah hill bears the inscription in Arabic: "God, Homeland, King" which, like the ramparts, is illuminated at night

The sunshine is more than 340 days a year, but the mist and the morning dew in summer are not rare. Average temperatures range from 14 ° C to 16 ° C in January and from 20 ° C to 25 ° C in July. However, the region sometimes knows the rise of Saharan air called chergui, which can exceptionally and for a few days (2 to 5) raise the heat above 40 ° C

In 1950, the Paquet Navigation Company's poster proclaimed "Winter as Summer, I bathe in Agadir"
