About Stonington

Situated on along the southeast corner of Connecticut, Stonington played an important role in the war of 1812. The Royal Navy retreated and Stonington, having not lost one person to the fighting, was remained in control of itself. Present-day Stonington is a small town with just over 18,500 residents and the perfect spot for a relaxing, New England summer getaway.
