Another great trip is to take a two-hour drive east to Borrego Springs where you take a scenic desert drive and then enjoy the great small town and at night you can enjoy some of the best stargazing you’ve ever seen, as Borrego Springs is an International Dark Sky Community. Of course, consider going north to Los Angeles or south to San Diego to explore the two largest cities in the area.
