This tidal waterfront cottage is situated on a large and beautiful property just across the cove from delightful Barrett’s Park, where you can swim, fish and explore the rocks for crabs and periwinkles. Relax on the deck and take in the fresh sea air and peaceful scenery, or take a short walk to the many shops, restaurants and galleries in the historic town of Boothbay Harbor. Recently made available as a vacation rental for the first time ever, you will find a pleasantly revitalized, clean and comfortably decorated 100+ year old cottage with new bedding and linens, fully supplied kitchen with appliances, dishware and cookware. It includes all of the modern amenities, full size washer/dryer and sleeps 5 comfortably. Just a short walk across our bustling little harbor by way of the famous footbridge or even by trolley, lies our historic seaside town, where you can browse the many shops and boutiques, stroll through our art galleries, enjoy local, fresh caught seafood at one of our outstanding restaurants, or book an adventure on one of the many excursions offered. Whether its whale watching, sailing, kayaking, charter fishing, viewing seals, puffins and lighthouses up close, or a trip to Monhegan Island, the list of activities is endless. Walk along the waterfront and enjoy an ice cream cone or take in the band concert on the library lawn. Learn about our ship-building heritage or listen to the “fish tales” of our colorful Boothbay natives while sampling some of our local micro brews. Check out the Marine Aquarium or take the kids to the Railway Village. Enjoy a round (or two) of world class 18 hole golf at The Boothbay Country Club or try your hand at mini-golf. While here, spend some time at the spectacular 250 acre Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens or spend the day hiking one of the Boothbay Region Land Trust’s over 30 miles of hiking trails, open year-round to the public, free of charge. It’s a great way to take in the region’s natural scenic beauty. Speaking of scenic beauty, any visit to Boothbay Harbor wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Ocean Point in East Boothbay. Its beauty will truly take your breath away and is always recommended
