For weekly rental - Updated year round house set on a 2 acre hilltop setting overlooking the small fishing/ lobstering village of Spruce Head. The entire front of the house has large picture windows with panoramic views of the ocean and the islands beyond. Newly installed Maine hardwood floors through the living room and bedrooms. Large living room with separate TV sitting area and gas fireplace with Maine granite surround, for those cool spring, summer, and fall evenings. If you choose to experience Maine in the winter, you can look out over the frozen harbor with lobster boats manuevering the frozen waters, to catch those succulent Maine lobsters while you are sitting in a toasty warm house. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need and on the back deck, you will have a propane gas lobster steamer to cook your lobsters and clams. The dining room seats 8 to 10 and the first of the front decks, off the dining room, offers a gas grill and outside dining for 6 to 8 people. And after dinner, step down a few steps onto the new semi circular deck with lounge chairs and couches to enjoy your after dinner drink or coffee. The house has 2 bedrooms. The master has a queen mattress and the second bedroom has twin beds both with new mattresses. For those overflow guests or the grown children, there is additional sleeping in the efficiency apt over the garage. There is a double bed and a single bed, as well as a kitchenette and shower bath. This bonus space has the same amazing views as the house !! There is a 2 car garage for use and a apple tree from which you can enjoy a tasty snack. Take a walk down the end of the driveway to have lunch or dinner at McLoons Lobster Shack, an outdoor eatery with local lobster, clams, oysters, chowders and homemade pies. Bring you kayaks; there are plenty of places to put them in and the coast is a great place to tour. You may see seals, osprey and bald eagles as you paddle the bay. The mid coast area is a hub of activity with festivals, gourmet restaurants, museums, art galleries, and plenty of gift shops with locally made Maine items
