Conifers is what you would expect from a traditional summer house nestled in the wooded shores of famed Hart’s Neck. Quaint and stunning with a vintage feel, this property has long been part of the owner’s family. Now, it’s your turn. Originally built in the 1880s, this renovated farmhouse – crisp with white clapboards and green shutters – sits on four acres and is located about 3 miles outside of Tenants Harbor Village (or a 5 minute boat ride across the harbor). The property is well maintained and has access to a dock at the mouth of the harbor on the property adjacent to Conifers. The property is private with woods for exploring, a lush green law and a natural stone patio. The kitchen is fully equipped and, like the rest of the house, has all modern conveniences we have become accustomed to. The house has cable television and WiFi Internet connection. Off the kitchen find a dining room with a wet bar, fireplace and a large dining table. In this wing of the house you will also find 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom complete with double sinks and a combination whirlpool tub/shower. The first bedrooms has a Queen bed. The second has two twins and have lovely views of the lawn and woods. The third bedroom which is on the 2nd floor, has a King bed as well and a small bathroom with a sink, toilet and mini-tub. The second wing of the house is comprised of the great room and the master suite. The great room has beautiful vaulted ceilings, built in book shelves around large windows, a fire place and living room furniture. You will find the television and dvd player here as well. The master suite is accessed via the great room – this truly serene suite has direct access to the fully appointed south facing terrace via French doors and overlooks the wooded area behind the house. Find a King bed and a sitting area and a full bathroom with a toilet, bidet, whirlpool tub and a shower. The house has access to a privately shared harbor-side dock. Guests have enjoyed swimming from the dock and tying up (temporarily) a small boat. There are public tennis courts about a mile from the house. The dock is about a 3 - 4 minute walk from the house. Fantastic Drift Inn Beach is just 2 miles away for those who want to spend time on a true sandy beach complete with tidal pools. Not-to-be-missed Port Clyde is a quick 5 minute drive away and the larger cities of Camden and Rockland are within a 20-30 minute drive. Additional amenities include: a few trash bags, privacy level high (this can be subjective, please ask with any questions), coffee filters, bedroom 4 2 twins 2nd floor, baby equipment (you can always rent equipment from our friends at mid-coast family rentals), land line phone, with that said, if you have certain needs regarding the internet, please let us know and we will indicate the properties providing the service that best meets your needs. , bathroom tissue/toilet paper 2 rolls per bathroom per guest turnover. , groceries, coffee, condiments, bathroom:, bedroom/sleeping: all bedding and bath towels provided. , bathroom 1 toilet, sink, jetted shower/tub 1st floor, hand soap for kitchen & bathroom, shampoos, body soaps and other personal hygiene products. , bedroom 2 king 1st floor, while some properties do have internet connection that is more “modern”, many properties are in locations that only allow for dsl or satellite connection which can be slower and at the mercy of weather, whole network connectivity and the like. , all purpose bathroom cleaner, waterfront/shore access: shared dock off property down a path from the house, bathroom 2 toilet, bidet, sink, shower, jetted tub 1st floor, fans: yes, new kitchen sponge per guest turnover. , you should plan to bring with you or purchase shortly after arrival:, some properties will have dry spices and other items.
