Guest Access: The entire house and property is available for use, except for the Garage (though it may be used for bike storage, etc. --no car) Also, there is a separate, rear driveway where a Boat/ Trailer can be parked for access to the Boat Ramp/ Marina right down the street. Interaction with Guests: The local rental agent will handle logisitics re: moving in, house maintenance and cleaning issues and any additional questions. The Neighborhood: Located on Pine Island- one of the last undiscovered places on the Gulf Coast of Florida, and one that retains the spirit of "Traditional Florida"- no high rises, glitz or people in a hurry to get to the next traffic light (there are none!). Walk to Boating/ Island Ferries, Fishing and Guides, Golf, Tennis, Fine Dining (and Casual!), Bike, explore adjacent Caloosa Indian Archaeological site. Getting Around: You will need a car to get to Pine Island, and around it. One hour from SW Florida International Airport- and 25 years back in time from nearby Sanibel and Captiva. Biking is easy- roads are flat. Walk to "Tarpon Lodge" in 12 minutes (check it out online) for elegant dining. Supermarket and "Town" 3 miles away. Other Things to Note: Pine Island, and especially the village of "Pineland"- pop. 450- is quiet and un-touristy (to say the least), but close to fun Matlacha village and across the drawbridge to the mainland and all the tourists, nearby Naples for high-end shopping/dining or discount and big box stores if desired. There are no beaches on the island, hence the lack of crowds/ traffic/ noise; however, beaches available near-by off island. Boating marina, Public Golf Course 5 minute walk away. Ethan the turtle lives quietly in his hole near the driveway. Don't feed or disturb Ethan. He's protected by law! This is a sophisticated house in a quiet area. Best for adults with responsible children. Small dogs considered. No parties or large crowds permitted. Enjoy The House!! Security Deposit Policy & Cancellation Policy: Please refer to your rental agreement for specific details. Seasonal (December 1-April 30) and Monthly Bookings - If you cancel your reservation at least 60 days prior to your arrival date, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $500. 00. If you must cancel within 60 days of your arrival date, regardless of reason, no refund of deposits or advanced payments will be given. Off Season Daily/Weekly Bookings - If you cancel your reservation prior to your arrival date, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $250. 00. Security Deposit - Security Deposit of $1000. 00 for Monthly Bookings or $500. 00 for Shorter Term Bookings to be mailed to manager along with your signed Rental Agreement
