Manning Hammock, a Pet Friendly Original Historic Cottage, a block to the beach

  • 2 bedrooms
  • 2 bathrooms

Description

Manning Hammock is one of the oldest private residences in Indian Rocks Beach. Built by Captain John Manning in 1926 and lovingly restored, the cottage is nestled in a hammock of live oaks and palm trees just a block from both the beach and the intercostal waterway. Our large, fully fenced yard offers a shaded retreat with a fountain, hanging orchids, and many birds: an island oasis and a safe play place for dogs and children alike. With two queen-sized bedrooms and a sofa, Manning Hammock can accommodate up to five guests. A garden room, screened porch, separate living/dining room, and outside seating area provide ample space for reading and games. Rinse off after the beach in the secluded outdoor hot-and-cold shower. Seagrass flooring, ample parking, original wood paneling. Owner has additional nearby properties to accommodate larger groups
